We will take our lunch break at Bushrod park across the street.

This is an introduction to the art of creating comics. Each class we cover a new topic like character design, character writing, thumbnailing/storyboarding, drawing environments and more.

Students are encouraged to bring forward their own characters, voices and stories while we hone our craft. We work traditionally and students are encouraged to bring their own sketchbook and favorite drawing pens/pencils. Drawing materials are provided also.

We will also collaborative comic exercises, games to get to know each other, and learning that making comics doesn’t have to be too difficult.
